Even if Designer Vinyl is not your thing, you should still take a moment and check out what a great job he's been doing from his base out in Singapore. The way he shows appreciation and respect for this culture will no doubt rub off on any non-believer.

Nerd City

Great little blurb on HERD over at a wicked blog out of Chicago named Nerd City which has now become part of my daily read. Any site that dedicates postings to old school topics such as Masters of The Universe and original NES games, is tops with me. They also produce an ongoing podcast series discussing the latest in Vinyl, Video games, Design and much much more.

It's no doubt made me embrace the inner geek once again.

DESIGN and DESIGN : Book of the Year

SALVADOR will be included in the upcoming Design and Design Book of the Year.

The hard cover publication which is released every January will consist of 730 designs from around the world. Definitely looking forward to seeing what they compiled.

The Motomichi Nakamura custom Monster made it's way into the pages of a Hong Kong publication called MILK. Might have to change my name to Joe to help out with the ol'spellcheck. Ah ya, story of my life.

Western Living : Moji Boys

Western Living added a few Moji's to their 2006 X-mas Gift Guide. Abit of a surprise to see these guys in print as I only intended them to be a knock around toy for my kids. Still cool to see then out there.

Sugar made it's way into an issue of Shtab-kvartira, a Russian lifestyle magazine. Have to say, I absolutely loved the cover page on this one.

As of today i've officially been welcomed to the Land+Living webzine family as one of their new writers.

CNET Asia review today for Pink Edith.

Pretty cool seeing this is usually a site dedicated to electronic gadgetry. They made mention of a light sensitive transformer which is no longer being incorporated into the design.
